Clinical Director

Shahnaz Choe, a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst based in Central California. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Teaching with emphasis of Applied Behavior Analysis, Shahnaz brings over 14 years of experience working with children, parents, and school personnel. Her journey began as a 1:1 school-based Behavior Therapist, expanding later to home and clinic-based settings.

Shahnaz became interested in Applied Behavior Analysis while working as an after school instructor in Los Angeles. She met a student with Autism who sparked her curiosity about understanding and helping with different behaviors. This experience motivated her to pursue a career as a Behavior Therapist. . Witnessing significant milestones in her clients, such as nonverbal children beginning to communicate and others achieving crucial goals like mastering toilet training, has been deeply fulfilling for her.

Apart from her work as a Behavior Analyst, Shahnaz also teaches ABA classes as an adjunct professor. Outside of work, she loves traveling, cooking, staying active, and learning more about psychology. Most importantly, Shahnaz values spending time with her family and friends, especially as a devoted mother to her daughter.
