Comprehensive assessments—including FBAs and BIP reviews—to clarify each child’s needs and support educational planning
- Completed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is not employed by the school district.
- Includes a full Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), review of behavior plans, records, interviews, and observations.
- Provides a clear written report with practical, helpful recommendations.
- A good option for parents who disagree with the school’s evaluation or feel that something was overlooked.
- May be funded by the school district or paid for privately.
- The report can be shared with the IEP team to support better planning and decisions.
